Who we are

Nails by Aneka is a home-based nail salon. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us through the booking form on this site or via our social media pages.

What information we collect

When you book an appointment, we collect:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address, so we can contact you about your appointment.
  • The service you've chosen, along with your appointment date and time, so we can book you in.
  • Allergy details, if you tell us about any, so Aneka can take the right precautions during your treatment.
  • An optional message, if you'd like to tell us anything else.
  • Up to 3 optional reference photos, so Aneka can see the nail design you'd like.

How we use your information

We only use your information to manage and confirm your appointment. We never sell your information, and we never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who processes your information

Your booking details are stored securely and sync to Aneka's own Google Calendar so she can manage her schedule. Confirmation and reminder emails are sent using Resend. This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Each of these services only handles the information needed to provide its part of the service.

How long we keep your information

Reference photos are automatically and permanently deleted 2 days after your appointment. Booking records are kept for Aneka's own business record-keeping.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you'd like to do any of these, just get in touch.

Cookies

This site does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. A single essential cookie is used only when Aneka logs into her own admin area to manage bookings. If you're simply browsing the site or booking an appointment, you are not given any cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
